Congratulations to the Notre Dame Pioneer football team, coaches, faculty and student body on their winning the Class 3A title Friday evening.
Many, many hours of hard work and preparation went into Friday’s game and also the 15-0 season the Pios posted. Now they can reap the rewards. Incidentally, Notre Dame was the only one of four No. 1 seeds to win in the Dome. Other tops seeds, John Curtis, Archbishop Rummel and Franklinton were all defeated in the finals.
Shop at home
With the Christmas season in full swing we urge shoppers to stay in Acadia Parish and spend their money here. By spending tax dollars in Acadia Parish you are paying for fire protection, roads, parks and schools. When you leave town those tax dollars go to other parishes and thereby other needs out of Acadia.
So remember, shop at home!
