According to State Police, Shasta Ann Fuselier, 31, was traveling north on La. 102 near Grand Marais Road when her Yukon left the east side of the road.
The vehicle struck a utility pole and rolled over. Fuselier, troopers said, was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected during the roll over.
She was pronounced dead at Jennings American Legion Hospital. Routine toxocology results are pending and the crash remains under investigation.
