School Year

The end of the school year is quickly approaching with the Senior Class of 2010 expected to graduate in the next few weeks.

There will also be ring ceremonies for the current juniors and awards ceremonies of all sorts. We here at the Post-Signal want to cover these events and we will do our best to attend as many functions as possible. Catahoula’s Calvin Borill will mount Super Saver this Saturday in the Preakness Stakes trying to nail down the second of three legs in the Triple Crown of horse racing. Borill has already won the Kentucky Derby and with a win at the Preakness and another at Belmont Park he can become the first Triple Crowley winner in over 30 years.

Random thoughts

Some painted no parking yellow would be a welcome addition to the curbing on Pakerson north from the courthouse...Notre Dame will be trying for their fourth State Championship this year when they play in the State Baseball Tournament later this week...Seems as though the new Tractor Supply store is going up overnight...Remember to drive safe, especially in school zones as youngsters are getting out of school.
