Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, May 31, 2010 at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Robert Ray Stutes, 62, who died May 28, 2010 at Summerwood Nursing Home in Crowley.
Deacon Rodless Leleux will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Monday from 8 a.m. to the time of service. Interment will be in Old Crowley Cemetery.
He is survived by two brothers, Joseph Pete Stutes of Crowley, and Douglas Stutes of Midland; five nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mr. Stutes is preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Rose Fontenot Stutes; and two sisters, Barbara Stutes Konkle and Linda Ann Stutes.
The family would like to thank the caregivers from Summerwood Nursing Home and Louisiana Hospice of Palliative Care.
