Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 23, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Bertha Jane Guidry Breaux 78, who died at her residence in Crowley.
Fr. Mathew Higginbotham,  Pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic will officiate  the services.
Survivors include her husband Buford Breaux Sr. of Crowley; six sons Donald J. Breaux I of Lafayette, Michael W. Breaux of Virginia Beach Virginia, Daniel R. Breaux Sr. of Mire, Buford J. Breaux Jr. of Crowley, Curtis P. Breaux of Crowley, and William L. Breaux of Crowley; five daughters Barbara J. Cooper of Crowley, Sandra G. Morgan of Crowley, Cheryl A. Broussard of Lafayette, Tenn., Deanna L Singleton of Crowley, and Sarah L. Meche of Mire; forty eight grandchildren, eighty great-grandchildren, and eighteen  great-great-grandchildren; and one brother Andy Guidry
Mrs.  Breaux was preceded in death by one son Terrance Breaux; her parents Walton and Elias Lapointe Guidry; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Mouton, Gary Breaux, Daniel Ray Breaux, Shannon Breaux, Joseph Morgan, Tyler Hebert, Wesley Breaux, Dustin Breaux and Gregory Meche.
Visitation were Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of services Wednesday with a Rosary recited Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.
Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley.
