Breaux Bridge — A man and his wife were arrested on suspicion of arson after a fire at the residence on Vincent Guidry Road shared by the couple and a roommate. Investigators said a domestic disturbance apparently lead to the fire.

Glenda Ashley, 51, was charged with criminal mischief and aggravated arson. Louis Ashley, 37, was charged with simple battery, domestic, and aggravated arson.

Both were booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.
