The Child Care Providers sponsored a trip to the Zoo of Acadiana in Broussard for the children of the community that was held on Saturday, April 26. The sponsors of the RHCCP attending the trip were Catherine Scott, Lou Anna Grant, Verlie Damon, Sheral Garrick, Jeanetta Bias, Savannah Washington, Vera Davis, and Paula Whittington.

The providers had a successful turnout including overwhelming participation by the parents. Approximately 50 children and parents attended. The schedule included events such as an alligator show and a train ride tour to view the animals.

The Child Care Providers not only provide the necessary care and supervision for our young ones, we also provide educational support and reinforcement. This support comes in the form of making sure that the kids develop good learning and educational habits. These habits include making sure children complete their studies with proper study habits, and provide consistent encouragement to do their best.

The results are proven in the success these students have had in the latest school term.

A number of these students are acknowledged for being honor roll students. We anticipate having more honor roll students in the upcoming terms, and will continue to provide them with the best to be the best.
