IOTA – Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 16, 2008 at Geesey-Ferguson Chapel in Iota for Frances Bergeaux Dietz, 77, who died Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

The Reverend Mitchell Gatte will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Iota Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be observed on Friday from 8 a.m. until service time.

She is survived by two daughters, Diana Burton of Millerville and Viola Guidry of Westlake; four sons, Russell Louviere, Larry Dietz, and Jessie Dietz, all of Evangeline, and Pap Louviere of Iota; a sister, Ethel Leger of Lafayette; 23 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her step-father, Oscar Louviere and her mother, Gladys Leckelt Louviere, her husband, Roland Dietz, and two daughters, Peggy Miller and Jackie Dietz.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc. of Iota.
