Fort Walton Beach, Florida will provide the setting for the exchanging of wedding vows between Amber Trahan of Crowley and Michael Joseph Menard of Breaux Bridge. The beach ceremony will be held on June 21 at 7:30 p.m.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Lindsey of Stuttgart, Arkansas and Mr. Wayland Trahan of Crowley. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Shelvan Trahan, Ms. Letha Vincent and Mr. and Mrs. Roland LeLeux, all of Crowley; and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lindsey of Bearden, Arkansas.

Amber is a 2004 graduate of Notre Dame High School and is currently attending McNeese State University. She employed with Health Work’s Gym and Spa in Crowley.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kim Menard of Breaux Bridge. He is the grandson of Ms. Elsie Dugas and Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Sparks, all of Breaux Bridge.

Michael is a 2000 graduate of Breaux Bridge High School and a 2006 graduate of University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is currently employed by Southern Pipe and Supply.

Following the wedding the couple plans to reside in Crowley.
