The front doors of the church featured two round wreaths accented with white tulle, fresh white spring flowers and white satin bows.
The church pews were marked with white satin bows.
The church altar was accented with white Easter lilies. The church window ledges featured white wisteria.
Vocalist during the ceremony was pianist Connie Beaugh. Lectors included Jelaine Begnaud, aunt of the groom, and Nelwyn Miller, aunt of the bride.
Gift bearers were Dot and Raymond Heinen, grandparents of the groom.
Ushering wedding guests to their appointed seats were Joseph Heinen of Eunice, cousin of the groom, Chris Garcia of Pineville, cousin of the bride.
The bride, given away by her father, was radiant in a strapless white satin gown. The scalloped bodice featured beading, embroidery and lace. The gathered skirting of the gown was featured scattered delicate appliques.
Her headpiece was a satin edged elbow-length tulle veil. She carried a hand-held bouquet of spring flowers accented with fresh greenery and tied at the stems with ivory satin ribbons.
Serving as matron of honor was Ashley Fitzback of Pineville, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids included McKenzie Begnaud of Eunice, cousin of the groom, Brittani Campbell of LaCompte, cousin of the bride, Katie Garcia of Pineville, cousin of the bride, Shanell Hertzog of Pineville, friend of the bride, Jenna Reed of Kolin, friend of the bride, and Courtney Allen of Kolin, friend of the bride.
The attendants wore pastel yellow strapless tea-length dresses with pastel pink sashes tied at the waistline with a matching shawl.
Serving as flower girl was Kinzley Allen, daughter of Courtney Allen of Kolin, La. She wore a white sleeveless tea-length dress similar to the brides’.
Serving as ring bearer was Skyler Fitzback, son of Ashley and Jake Fitzback of Pineville. He wore a traditional black tuxedo with a matching white shirt.
Best man was Blake Veillon of Eunice, friend of the groom.
Groomsmen were Nick Johnson, Ronnie Johnson, both of Basile, friends of the groom, Chad Faul, Brandon Vidrine, both of Eunice, friends of the groom, Matt Campbell of Libuse, brother of the bride, and Jake Fitzback of Pineville, brother-in-law of the bride.
The groom and groomsmen wore traditional black tuxedos with matching white shirts.
Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Northwest Community Center in Eunice.
The registry table was draped with a white linen table cloth accented with white satin bows.
A bridal portrait of the bride rested upon an easel next to the registry table.
The wedding cake was a four-tiered columned blush pink fondant confection accented with white scrolling. Each layer was topped with fresh spring flowers.
The groom’s cake was a two-tiered rounded chocolate cake which rested upon a lasso of cowboy rope. The topper of the cake was a cowboy hat.
Special out-of-town guests traveled from Pineville, Lake Charles, Westlake and Lafayette.
For their honeymoon the couple took a week-long trip to a Smokey Mountains Resort in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
The bride chose a two-piece blue suit for her traveling attire.
The bride is a graduate of Buckeye High School and the groom is a graduate of Eunice High School and T.H. Harris Technical College in Opelousas.
The couple have made their home in Basile.
