Mr. and Mrs. Harold P. Leleux, Jr. of Rayne proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Claire Marie to Thomas James Beadle, Jr. of New Orleans.

The bride-elect’s mother is the former Lyle DeBellevue. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Lyle Debellevue of Crowley and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold P. Leleux, Sr. of Estherwood.

Claire is a graduate of Notre Dame High School and a cum laude graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she received a degree in nursing. She is also a member of the nursing honor society. After working as a registered nurse she returned to school to pursue her masters in nurse anesthesia. She is currently attending Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge.

The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Beadle, Sr. of Flower Mound, Texas. His mother is the former Dolores Reilly. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Reilly and Patricia Beadle and the late Edward Beadle.

Thomas is a graduate of Staples High School in Westport, Connecticut and Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina, and New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He is currently completing his fifth year as a general surgery resident at Tulane University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. In July of 2009, he will begin a vascular surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

The couple will wed at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne. Associate Pastor, Reverend Brian Taylor will officiate the ceremony.

After the exchanging of wedding vows, the newly wedded couple will reside in New Orleans.
