Fishing in Henderson is holding steady. Bream are being caught in the Phillips Canal and in the Butte La Rose Canal on crickets and worms. Fish about two feet down for these.

The sac-a-lait fishing is fair. Fish in North and South Bijeaux on the laydowns and treetops, in Butte La Rose Canal, and between the islands in North Bijeaux. Troll here in the spot, and the Bar Pits. Use shiners and black/chartreuse, red/blue/chartreuse, or blue/white. Fish about three feet deep.

Bass fishing is fair on the points and drains because the water is on a slow fall still. Use white/chartreuse spinnerbaits or black/chrome, crankbaits. The drains off of the flats are working too, and also under the interstate.
