Roland LeGrand and Fabian Clark of Breaux Bridge announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Dawn Marie LeGrand to Blake Anthony Menard on Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, during a 7 p.m. ceremony at Sacred Heart Chapel in Butte LaRose. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Marjorie Theriot of Parks. She is a graduate of Breaux Bridge High School and is employed by Turner Industries Group, Pipe Fabrication Division. The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Menard of Butte LaRose and the grandson of Joseph Menard of Carencro and Joseph and Janelle Martin of Opelousas. He is a graduate of Cecilia High School and is employed by the Lafayette Fire Department.
