Funeral services for Mr. Frank B. Frey, 91, will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, August 11, 2008 in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Funeral home visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., Sunday; and 8 a.m. Monday until time of services.

A rosary led by Sybil Frey will be recited at 7 p.m., Sunday in the funeral home chapel.

Mr. Frey died at 1:11 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2008 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital.

Mr. Frey was a native of Iota and a resident of Jennings for 54 years after moving here from the Iota-Mowata area. He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. Mr. Frey was a rice, soybean, crawfish and cattle farmer. He also worked for the SBA Shipyard as an equipment operator. He was an avid duck, dove and deer hunter.

Mr. Frey is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clyde (Wanda) Smith of Jennings and Mrs. Danny (Debbie) Hylton of Jennings; a son, Clifford “Cuz” Frey and his wife Drew Ann of Jennings; one special daughter, Kitsy Odom of Carrolton, TX; two sisters, Amelia Bertrand of Iota and Catherine Fontenot of Iota; three brothers, Sylvester Frey of Iota, Bobby Frey of Iota and Harold Frey of Hackberry; six grandchildren, Tiffany Theunissen, Jana Hebert, Jarrod Smith, Brett Hylton, Becca Hylton and Brandon Hylton; and three great-grandchildren, Matthew Leger, Zachary Benoit and Kelsey Benoit.

Frey was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lena Prather Frey; his wife, Verley Mae LeJeune Frey; two sisters, Cecilia Leger and Clara LeJeune; four brothers, Walter Frey, August “Red” Frey, Richard Frey and Jimmy Frey.
