Mr. Primeaux was a native of Lyons Point and a resident of Kaplan. He was a veteran of the US Army having served his country during World War II.
Fr. Don Leger, associate pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. A rosary was recited Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Abshire Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Trahan Primeaux of Kaplan; four daughters, Olive P. Breaux of Welsh, Shirley P. Doucet of Baton Rouge, Lorita P. Johnson of Kaplan and Betty Primeaux of Kaplan; five sons, Otto Primeaux of Morse, Henry Primeaux of Morse, Lovelace Primeaux of Morse, Felician Primeaux of Kaplan and Calvin Primeaux of Kaplan; one brother, Earl Primeaux of Kaplan; fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home of Crowley.
