RAYNE – Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 4 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Ruby Thibodeaux of Crowley, 71, who died Saturday, September 13, 2008 at her home in Crowley. Deacon Bess officiated the services.

Burial was held in St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Rayne.

Visitation was observed Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of services.

She is survived by her husband, Vernice Thibodeaux of Crowley; her two sons, Carroll and wife Pearl Owens of Rayne and John and wife Tina Thibodeaux of Scott; one daughter, Tammy and husband David Credeur of Mississippi; one sister, Ethel Stelly of Jennings; six grandchildren, Keith and wife Dawn Owens, Talley and husband Greg Daigle, Scotty and wife Pam Thibodeaux, Haley Young, Devin Credeur and Katelyn Credeur; two great-grandchildren, Kalley and Trenton Daigle; and her beloved dog and companion Penny.

She is preceded in death by one son, Robbie Thibodeaux; one great-grandchild, M.J. Daigle; her parents, Lovenia Richard and Alcemont Allemen; and two brothers, Ulysse Paul and J.C. Alleman.

Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne is in charge of the arrangements.
