Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2008, at the Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Church in Branch, for Clara Jane R. Bourdeaux, 72, of Eunice, who died Thurday, November 6, at the Eunice Manor Nursing Home in Eunice.

Burial was in the Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery in Branch.

Visitation was observed Friday from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. until time of service.

She is survived by three sons, Frank and Geraldine Bergeron, Church Point, Kenneth and Darlene Bergeon, Church Point, and Charlie Bergeron, Lafayette; three daugters, Patsy Beard, Church Point, Connie and Joseph Credeur, Church Point, and Dana and Michael Rouse, Baytown, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Ray Bergeron; second husband, Harold Boudreaux; her parents, Leland and Sadie Richard, one grandson, Daniel Beard, Sr.; one granddaughter, Gabrielle Beard; and one son-in-law, Keith Beard.
