The honoree is the bride-elect of Nicholas Paul Guidry of Crowley. She is the daughter of Cynthia Thibodeaux, also of Crowley and the granddaughter of Ethel Gaspard and the late Hellas Gaspard and Laura Thibodeaux and the late David Thibodeaux, all of Crowley.
The groom-elect is the son of Hubert and Julie Guidry of Crowley and Brad and Deborah Hanks of Morse. He is the grandson of Bill and Nita Faulk of Crowley and Juanita Guidry of Crowley and the late Hubert Guidry, Sr.
Hosting the afternoon social which accommodate approximately twenty-five guests were Betty Monceaux and Lynne Heinen.
The couple has plans to wed during a 2 p.m. ceremony on December 20, 2008 at The Ballroom in Rayne with Judge John Trahan officiating.
