CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held Friday, January 23, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home for Joseph Narville Kebodeaux, Sr., 73, who died Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 1 a.m. in Crowley.

Mr. Kebodeaux was a native and lifelong resident of the Crowley area. He retired from Permian Corp after thirty-two years of service without missing a day of work. He was a member of Roberts Cove Church of Christ.

Rev. Jason Corder, Rev. Sterling Shinn and Rev. Bruce Runner will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Kie Hebert Cemetery, Roberts Cove.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-five years, Adelene Lormand Kebodeaux of Crowley; three daughters, Virginia K. Becnel and her husband Danny of Round Rock, TX, Linda K. Ancelet and her husband Kenneth of Crowley, Sally K. Walsh and her husband Blaine of Iota; two sons, Joseph N. “Bubba” Kebodeaux, Jr. and his wife Virginia of Iota, Larry Kebodeaux and his wife Connie of Egan; three sisters, Mary K. Cernoch of Terrell, TX, Dorothy K. Lormand of Austin, TX and Helen K. Fontenot of Crowley; two brothers, Herman Kebodeaux of Iota and Danny Kibodeaux of Rayne; eleven grandchildren, Laura Zaunbrecher, Wesley Kebodeaux, Tanya Huynh, Erick Ancelet, Cody Ancelet, Jacob Kebodeaux, Kayla Kebodeaux, Amber Becnel, James Becnel, Bradley Kebodeaux, Philip Kebodeaux; five great-grandchildren, Gage Ancelet, Luke Zaunbrecher, Levi Zaunbrecher, Wyatt Ancelet and Adeline Kebodeaux.

Mr. Kebodeaux was preceded in death by one son, Harry Kebodeaux; his parents, Louis and Ella Murphy Kebodeaux; one brother, Clyde Kebodeaux.
