Drug-related arrests made

Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon stated that on Sunday evening members of the Acadia Parish Criminal Interdiction Unit charged David Moitozo, age 50 of Pensacola Florida with Possession of Hydrocodone, Possession of Marijuana following a traffic stop on I-10 and the discovery of illegal narcotics in his vehicle.

The passenger in the vehicle, Clyde A Woods, age 45, of Pensacola, FL wanted for Terrorists Threats out of Georgia is presently being held in the Acadia Parish Jail awaiting extradition.

In an unrelated matter

Agents with the Acadia Parish Narcotics Strike Force report the following recent arrests:

 Regina Senegal Campbell, 42, Rayne, arrested and charged with distribution of crack cocaine.  Bond set at $20,000.

JoAnn Boudreaux, 60, Rayne, arrested and charged with distribution of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $35,000.

Claude J. Morrison, 31, Crowley, arrested and charged with distribution of marijuana.  Bond set at $10,000.

Curtis Guidry, 23, Church Point, arrested and charged with distribution of marijuana.  Bond set at $10,000.

Steffon Duplechain, 24, Church Point, arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and possession of marijuana.  Bond set at 25,500.
