The Lady Rebels topped the Lady Cardinals, 39-27, in the opener and the Rebels claimed a 56-54 victory over Lacassine in the nightcap.
The Lady Rebels improved to 22-14 overall and 4-4 in league play. The Rebels finished the regular season at 30-5 and 10-0.
Sharae Primeaux led the Lady Rebels with 11 points. Patricia Garrie and Ramsey Falcon each pitched in nine. Courtney LeJeune and Carisa Richard each scored four points and Mollie Vincent finished with two.
The boys’ game was a little more interesting. Colby Gantt converted a three-point play with 26 seconds remaining for what proved to be the game winner.
Gantt and B.J. Cormier each scored 17 points in the victory while Miles Sonnier chipped in 11.
In other local action, Iota’s Lady Bulldogs fell to Jennings, 61-46.
Jade LeJeune led Iota with nine points and Katelyn Regan scored eight.
Also contributing were Tori Stroderd with seven, Katie Latiola and Allison Baggett with six each and Anna Lege and Dominique Thomas with five each.
