DELCAMBRE - Construction is in full swing in Delcambre on a new retail complex to include two restaurants and Dentist Adrian Simm’s offices. Otto Hebert Lumber of Delcambre are the general contractors for the project.

Hall Fontaine is the project manager for Otto Hebert Lumber and he said the Town of Delcambre is excited about the addition of a new Domino’s Pizza location, as well as the town’s first Subway, which are set to open in the complex this summer.

Fontaine said the property owner, Adrian Simms, will also have a new location for his dentistry practice, which is currently located in Delcambre.

The complex, Fontaine said, is 6,100 square feet and has been constructed from the ground--up. The project is said to cost in the seven figure range.

“This is a big project for Delcambre,” he said.

The retail complex is located at 1616 Veterans Memorial Drive, or just off of La. Hwy 14, next to the Family Dollar in Delcambre.

This is the third recent construction project in Delcambre; the Twin Parish Plaza and Family Dollar are two of the town’s most recent additions.
