Mr. and Mrs. William George Jr. of St. Martinville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Marie George, to Ryan Harrison Jones on Saturday, May 2, 2009, during a 2 p.m. ceremony at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William L. George Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Lewis Sr. She is a graduate of St. Martinville Sr High and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is employed by St. Joseph Head Start Center. The groom-elect is the son of Mr and Mrs. Warren Jones of Parks and the grandson of Casterina Porter James of St. Martinville and the late Harrison James and Wourance and Eula Narcisse Jones of St. Martinville. He is a graduate of St. Martinville Sr. High School and attended the University of New Orleans. He is employed by SRC Engineers LLC.
