Allstar action continues this weekend with boys district and girls regional tournaments scheduled as follows: In local action, Rayne will host the Boys Pony district tournament this weekend, while the girls Mustang and Bronco regional tournaments will be hosted in Crowley.

In tournaments held last weekend, the Girls Pinto allstars traveled to Gonzales where they placed fifth (3-2) and gained a berth to the National Tournament next month. They will be attending a warm-up tournament this weekend in Crowley.

The Boys Pinto allstars traveled to Kinder last weekend for their district tournment. The Americans finished district runnerup posting a 2-2 record before falling to Kinder in the finals. The Nationals came up short (0-2) during the weekend tournament.

Eunice was the site last weekend for the Boys Mustang allstar tournament. The Americans placed fourth (1-2), Nationals in fifth (0-2).

The Boys Bronco allstars traveled to Jennings last weekend for their district tournament.

Coaches and parents are reminded to bring in team pictures to be included in the upcoming special edition.
