Conrad and Marie Mouton of Mire are announcing the engagement and forthcoming wedding of their daughter, Alyssa Lynn, to Drew Anthony Dogay.

The couple will be married during a 1 p.m. wedding ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, followed by a reception at Union Hall in Rayne.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Adam and Lydia Pellissier of Rayne, Juanita Mouton of Rayne and the late Clyde Mouton. She attended Rayne High School and is employed by Iberia Bank.

The prospective groom is the son of Albert Dogay of Carencro and Melissa DaBoer of Mire. His grandparents are Deanna Guidry of Rayne, Ambrose Meche of Basile, Ethel Dogay of Rayne and the late Robert Dogay. He attended Rayne High School and is employed as a local musician.

Following their wedding, the couple will reside in Rayne.
