The change of Autumn will be the setting for an evening wedding ceremony uniting Brook Baxter of Rockwall, Texas and Sgt. Jamin Lance Roy of Ridge.

Occasions at Stone River will be the setting for the 7 p.m. wedding, followed by a reception.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Steve and Karan Baxter of Rockwall, Texas. Her grandparents are John and Betty Chiles, and Harold and Ruby Woods. She is a graduate of Heritage Christian Academy, Toni and Guy Hairdressing Academy, and is employed with Technique Data Systems in Rockwall, Texas.

The prospective groom is the son of Joel and Vaune Roy of Ridge. His grandparents are Elridge and Anne Hanks of Judice, and James and Cherrie Roy of Breaux Bridge. He is a graduate of Lafayette Christian Academy and is employed with the Louisiana National Guard, having served one year with the United States Army in Iraq.

Following their wedding, the couple will reside in Rockwall, Texas.
