
Funeral services were held Monday, October 5, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne, for Laura Mae Alleman, 78, who passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009, at 6:20 a.m. at the home of her daughter in Duson. Officiating the services were Deacon Dan Besse.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph “Joe” Alleman of Duson; two daughters, Eldean and her husband, Harold Comeaux, of Duson, Nacklyn and her husband, Darrell Credeur, of Duson; three grandchildren, Tessica and her husband, Mark Lantier, Tiree and her husband, David Champagne, and David and his wife, Kristy Sonnier; six great-grandchildren, Tosha Lantier and Cecil O’Halloran, Toya Lantier, Trent Champagne, Terin Champagne, Cory Champagne, and Charles Champagne; two great-great-grandchildren, Kadynce Lantier, and Dylan O’Halloran; and one brother, Dercy Alleman, of Groves, Texas.
Mrs. Laura was preceded in death by her son, Farrell Alleman; her parents, Baltizar & Emila Alleman, Sr.; nine brothers, and two sisters.

Pallbearers for Mrs. Laura were Harold Comeaux, Trent Champagne, David Champagne, Mark Lantier, Carroll Alleman and Jason Dugas.
Honorary were Darrell Credeur, Daniel Alleman, David Sonnier and Jimmy Baudoin.
Visitation was Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne.
A Rosary was recited at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel.
Burial was at St. Theresa Church Cemetery in Duson.
