Three charged after armed robbery,

Chief Carroll Stelly announced Monday that his office is investigating an armed robbery and aggravated rape that occurred in the early morning hours of Monday, November 16, at the Days Inn on the Rayne/Church Point Hwy. 
Detectives have made three arrests in the case.<!--break-->
Officers arrested Jacky Andrews, Jr., 23, B/M, of 314 W. Edwards St,, Rayne
Andrews was charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of aggravated rape. Andrews’ total bond was set at $500,000 by Rayne City Judge Jim Cunningham.
Also arrested was  Jeffery J. Babineaux, 20, B/M, of 510 E. Harrop, Rayne. Babineaux was charged with accessory after the fact to armed robbery. His bond was set at $100,000 by Rayne City Judge Jim Cunningham.
The third man arrested is  August “Mud” Miller, III, 21, B/M, of 1108 S. Adams, Welsh.
Miller was charged with accessory after the fact to armed robbery. His bond was set at $50,000 by Rayne City Judge Jim Cunningham.
The investigation is continuing at this time.
