The bride-elect is the daughter of Mary Richard and Larry Espree of Rayne, while the prospective groom is the son of Sadie Harmon of Rayne.
Hosting the pre-nuptial courtesy were members of the bridal partyCurtrese Minix, Dana Gallien, Ashley Richard, Brittany Richard, Latrice Minix, Jatwila Alex, Kizzy Broussard and Kira Babire.
Guests were treated to Subway sandwiches, hot wings, shrimp fettuccini, jambalaya, hot meatballs, deviled eggs, fruit trays, fried chicken, a special shower cake and beverages.
For the special event, Miss Espree wore a specially made bridal shirt. She was presented a corsage of burgundy, silver and white.
The mother of the bride-elect and the prospective groom each wore a similar event shirt with a special wedding mottif.
Approximately 50 family members and guests attended from Rayne, Church Point and Sunset.
Special guests in attendance were Oradell Leger and Margaret Espree, aunts of the bride-elect.
The engaged couple were married on Saturday, March 20, 2010 during a 4 p.m. ceremony held at Cunningham CME Church in Rayne.
