Ricky and Wanda Venable of Rayne are announcing the engagement and forthcoming wedding of their daughter, Lauren Brooke, to Tyler James McFalls Fontenot, son of James “Jimmy” and Norellie Fontenot, also of Rayne.
The couple will be united as husband and wife on Saturday, July 17, 2010 during a two o’clock afternon nuptial Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, followed by a reception at the Rayne Civic Center.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Lee-Etta and Auguste Venable and the late Valex and Lollie Breaux. She is a 2008 graduate of Rayne High School, an anticipated 2012 graduate of UL-Lafayette, and is employed by Fezzo’s Seafood, Steakhouse and Oyster Bar.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Billy Ray and Merella McFalls and Andrus and Rose Fontenot, all of Rayne. He is a 2008 graduate of Rayne High School, an anticipated 2012 graduate of UL-Lafayette, and is employed by Fezzo’s Seafood, Steakhouse and Oyster Bar.
Following their wedding, the couple plans to make their home in Rayne.
