Crowley Police Department conducts drug raid

CROWLEY - Armed with a search warrant, Crowley Police Narcotics Agents and members of the Crowley Police Department S.W.A.T. team raided an apartment at Carver Village early Tuesday morning. The search warrant was conducted at apartment #29. Carver Village is located on the Northeast portion of Crowley near North Ave L and 12th Street.

“SWAT team members entered the residence and quickly secured all present in the apartment without incident. After the apartment was secured, agents began their search for illegal narcotics which was the intent of the warrant” stated Chief of Police K.P. Gibson.

Agents were able to recover several different drugs and have arrested one Crowley man and are seeking another as part of the investigation. In all, Darvocet, Alprazolam and Marijuana were recovered in the residence.

Keith Pierson, 20 of Crowley was arrested and booked into the Acadia Parish Jail for possession of Alprazolam and Darvocet.

Crowley Police have active arrest warrants for Jordan Keith Joseph, 21 of Crowley. Joseph is wanted for Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Alprazolam and Monies Derived from Drug Proceeds.
