She is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame High School and a 2008 graduate of Louisiana State University.
Adam is the son of Terry Jay and Pam Johnson of Moss Bluff. He is the grandson of the late J.L Johnson, the late Frankie Blanchard, and Jean Johnson; and the Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Parker.
He is a 2002 graduate of Sam Houston High School, a 2006 graduate of Louisiana State University, and a 2009 graduate of Southern University Law School.
The evening ceremony was officiated by Father Kevin Bordelon and Reverend Steve James. Ashley was escorted down the aisle by her father, Todd Leonards. Musical selections were performed by Lynwood Meaux. There were scripture readings by Tonette Pellegrin, Kerri Millet, and Hannah Stelly.
The bride’s matron of honor was her sister, Erin Leonards. She was attended by her bridesmaids, the groom’s sisters, Anna Catherine Rose and Sarabeth Johnson; and the bride’s friends, Elise Webb, Jennifer Guidry, Jenna Guidry, and Natasha Barry. She was also attended by her junior bridesmaids Tabitha and Bethany Leonards, sisters of the groom.
The groom’s best man was his brother, Jonathan Johnson. He was also attended by his groomsmen, Trenton Leonards, brother of the bride; and Marc Rose, brother-in-law of the groom; and his friends, Josh Price, Matt Pettaway, Brennan LaRocque, and Jason Cook.
The ushers were Mark Caldwell and Rob Owens, both are friends of the groom.
The flower girl was the bride’s godchild, Loralie Pellegrin.
A rehearsal dinner was held on July 15, 2010 at 6 p.m. at The Grand Ballroom at the Opera House of the South. The dinner was hosted Terry Jay and Pam Johnson, the groom’s parents.
The wedding reception was held at the Grand Opera House of the South in Le Grand Hall in Crowley. Guests traveled from Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, and Houston to be a part of the festivities.
Ashley and Adam will honeymoon at Walt Disney World and when they return they will reside in Lake Charles.
