As announced by Principal Cindy Istre, a number of important dates have been scheduled for the start of the 2010-2011 school year at Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish, including:

August 6: Freshman Orientation, 8-11 a.m.

August 9: Faculty Inservice, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

August 10: Faculty Retreat, 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Grand Coteau

August 11: First day for seniors and freshmen, 7:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

August 12: First day for juniors and sophomores, 7:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.; Senior pictures, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

August 13: All student report, Opening School Year Liturgy at 9:05 a.m.

August 14: Back to School Dance, 8 - 11 p.m. in NDHS gym.

August 18: Back to School Night

August 22-23: Senior Retreat

August 23: Safe Environment Training, 6 p.m.

August 29: Auditions for school play, “Singing of the National Anthem.”
