LAFAYETTE – The University of Louisiana Athletics Department announced game times for the 2010 football season on Monday.

The season opener at Georgia on Sept. 4 will be produced by the SEC Network and aired locally on KADN Fox 15 with an 11:21 a.m. (CT) kickoff.

The first two home games - Sept. 11 vs. Arkansas State and Sept. 25 vs. Middle Tennessee - will be broadcast on the Sun Belt Network. The network in conjunction with the Sun Belt Conference has moved kickoff for those two games to 2:30 p.m. Season ticket holders need to be aware of the time change, as season tickets list a 6 p.m. game.

The Sun Belt road opener at North Texas on Oct. 2 will also be shown on the Sun Belt Network with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m.

The television exposure on the SBN for three consecutive games promotes UL football to over 50 million households.

The Friday night contest with Oklahoma State on ESPN2 HD is set for 8 p.m. on October 8 at Cajun Field.

Troy has set a 6:00 p.m. game time for the Cajuns and Trojans meeting on Oct. 16 at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Troy.

The Cajuns' annual Homecoming contest on Oct. 23 will begin at 4 p.m. with Western Kentucky providing the opposition.

Louisiana's first-ever trip to Athens, Ohio, to face Ohio University features a 1 p.m. (CT) start.

The Ragin' Cajuns final three Sun Belt contests - all in November - are tentatively set as follows: Nov. 13 at Florida Atlantic (6 p.m. CT), Nov. 20 vs. FIU (6 p.m.) and Nov. 27 at La.-Monroe (2:30 p.m.). The Sun Belt Network is implementing "wildcard week" for the final four weeks of the season to show that week's most compelling game, which could result in time changes for these games - the FAU game would move to 2:30 p.m., the FIU game to 3:15 p.m., and the La.-Monroe kick time would remain the same.

The game time for the Ole Miss contest (Nov. 6) has not been released as the game is expected to be added to the SEC television package.
