RAYNE - Crimestoppers of Acadia Parish and the Rayne Police Department are seeking information about a theft from a Rayne business.

On Friday, July 2, 2010 unknown suspects forcibly entered the front door of Copper King located at 108 North Polk Street. Once inside the business, they stole several sheets of the new copper valued at several hundred dollars. The copper was in sheets 18” wide x 10’ long. This copper will be easy to identify because of its new luster.

If you have any information about this theft, call Acadia Crimestoppers at 789-TIPS, 789-8477. Callers will remain anonymous and could receive up to a $1,000 cash reward. Remember, it is their name we want, not yours.
