FAMILY FUN DAY was hosted by the members of the A&O 21st Century Club Sunday afternoon at the Martin Luther Kinder Community Center. During the afternoon, club members distributed free school supplies to many local children as they prepared to return to class on Friday. The school supplies were provided by local citizens during a street drive conducted by the club members. In addition to distributing school supplies, the fun day offered fun jumps and games for the children and free food. The members extended a special thanks to the following for their support: Untouchable Cuts Barbershop, Boot Camp Riders, Hollywoods Barbershop, Eddies Lawn Care, Ebonite Social and Civic Club, Frog Fun Jumps, Coca Cola Distributing, Mayor Jim Petitjean, The City of Rayne, Trahan Foods Store, WalMart, Dr. Mark Dawson, Young’s Trucking Company, Winn Dixie, Ladies of Freedom, and Sister’s of A & O.
