Records indicate that Aaron Sittig, 20, and Dustin “Chase” Thompson, 18, are each being held on other charges while investigation by Eunice and Acadia Parish officers continues.
Police say a number of items have been recovered, including a refrigerator, meat, gasoline cans, rods and reels and other allegedly stolen items.
The thefts occurred, records indicate, at College Junction, several homes along Fournerat Road and other locations.
Sittig is being held on a possession of Schedule III drug charges. He allegedly had steroids in his possession.
Thompson is being held on a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon. The gun was allegedly stolen from a vehicle on North 2nd Street.
Neither suspects is new to Eunice police.
Most recently, Sittig was arrested on a money warrant in May for failing to pay a City Court fine.
He was arrested in March of 2009 for theft and in September of 2008 for possession of stolen things - things allegedly stolen during and just after Hurricane Gustav struck the city.
Thompson was charged with a burglary in September 2009.
According to records, both got out of the City Jail earlier this summer.
