Beatrice Credeur Thibodeaux

Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monday, September 6, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. for Beatrice Credeur Thibodeaux, 83, who died Friday, September 3, 2010, in Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center.

Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne.

Surviving are daughters, Linda Ancona and husband, Angelo,, of Duson and Caroline Aucoin and husband, Terry, of Lafayette; son, Rodney Thibodeaux, Sr. of Duson; grandchildren, Angelique West and husband, Billy, of League City, Texas, Rodney Thibodeaux, Jr. of Alexandra, Megan Aucoin of Lafayette, and Matthew Aucoin of Lafayetteand great-grandchild, Lindsay West of League City, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Thibodeaux; four sisters, Joyce Leger, Mary Jane Demette, Hazel Champagne and Thelma Menard; three brothers, Nolton Credeur, Delven Credeur and Wilton Credeur.

She was born Sunday, January 16, 1927, in Duson, daughter of the late Leodice Credeur and the late Amelia Credeur.

She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, St. Joseph Catholic Daughters and St. Joseph Ladies Altar Society. Mrs. Thibodeaux also ironed for many people in Rayne and the surrounding community.

Friends were received 12:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., Sunday, September 5, and 8:00 a.m. until services, Monday, September 6, 2010; at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne.
