Charles was born October 31, 1930 to Dorothy and Clyde Heinsz of Crowley. He married, Jo Anne Blankley May 25, 1952. They were happily married 58 years. Mr. Heinsz was one of the first rice farmers in the state of Mississippi and inspired many others to follow.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Clyde Heinsz; a son, Greg Heinsz; and a daughter-in-law, Nancy Heinsz.
Mr. Heinsz is survived by his wife, Jo Anne Heinsz of Shelby; daughters, Marcia Crocker (David) of Skene and Lisa Edwards (Mike) of Morton; a son, Charlie Heinsz, Jr. (Beth); grandchildren, Blake Crocker (Tiffany), Barth Crocker (Chasity), Zac Edwards, Brittany Heinsz, Brigham Heinsz, Tres Heinsz, Chip Chudy, and Jamye McCellan; great-grandchildren, Blake Crocker, Jr., Carter Crocker, Colton Crocker, Chad Chudy, Reed Chudy, Mia McCellan, and Elly McCellan; sister, Dorothy Seaton of Crowley; niece, Darlene Hebert of Crowley; and nephew, Teddy Seaton of Crowley.
Pallbearers will be Warren Bell, Gary Gainspoletti, Ted Alford, Scott Coopwood, Ike Brunetti, and Wesley Nokes. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Janoush, John Hobbs, Tom Holder, David Favi, and Warren Bailey.
