EUNICE - A wonderful mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Margaret Graalman Loewer, will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was 93. Margaret passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center, Bryan, Texas. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Richard. Interment will follow in the Mowata Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Orville Rogers officiating.

Margaret was a member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church where she played the organ for the church for around 60 years and participated in teaching Sunday school.

She leaves behind a loving and grateful family including her sons, Paul H. “Jackie” Loewer, Jr. of Branch and James R. Loewer and wife, Carol of East Mowata; her two daughters, Hildegard L. Futch and husband, Elba Ray of Houston and Gretchen L. Hanson and husband, Steven L. Hanson of Bryan, Texas; her daughter-in-law Lynn Loewer of Eunice; her 12 grandchildren, Helene Futch, Naomi Futch, Heather L. Miller, Ryan Loewer, Margo L. Yoder, Clinton, Bradley, Micah, Kristine and Breanna Loewer and Aubrey and Ethan Hanson; 13 great grandchildren; and three nephews, Richard Groff of Snellville, Ga., Fred and Robert Groff both of McKinney, Texas.

Now she rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Paul H. Loewer, Sr.; her parents, Herbert Graalman and Emma Voss Graalman; her son, Raymond L. Loewer and daughter-in-law, Onietta U. Loewer.
