Detectives with the Crowley Police Department recently arrested a Lafayette Parish man and charged him with two count of attempted burglary of a pharmacy.

Crowley Police investigated two separate incidents on Sept. 27 of burglary at the Medicine Shop and Cashway pharmacies.

Police arrested Thomas Bourque, of Scott, on two counts of attempted burglary of a pharmacy.

Bourque was arrested after a standoff with authorities in Lafayette Parish after he committed a burglary of a Meche’s Family Drugs in Duson.

Investigators used evidence obtained at the time of the crime to link Bourque to the two incidents in Crowley.

Bourque is being housed in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center with a hold placed on him for Crowley Police.
